10 General Steps
I would now like to take an opportunity to explain to you how terribly easy it is to make wine. Once you look at these basic steps, I know you'll want to rush out to your local homebrewing shop, buy a kit and get started.   Nature does the real work and we reap all the benefits.

1.  Pick a high quality fruit, wash and pick out the bad ones.
2.  Crush the fruit.
3.  Add all the ingredients except yeast, cover and let sit overnight.?  It's also a good idea to add one crushed and dissolved Campden tablet per gallon of must.  This will kill all the bad yeast and sanitize the must.
4.  The next day add yeast starter and nutrient then stir.  Let it sit overnight again.
5.  On the third day start stirring twice a day. (or at least once)
6.  After five to seven days take the pulp out and and let all the juice drip into the fermenter.
7.  Pour juice into carboy and attach air lock.
8.  After three of four weeks rack.  Rack every three or four months until clear.
9.  Soak the cork, then bottle.  Let most wine age for one year.
10. Sit back and enjoy your delicious homemade wine.

Don't get me wrong, there are some other details you need to know about. (balancing the must, taking a S.G., titret testing and a few more)  But if you can follow a recipe you can make a decent wine.  So experiment, have fun and pass on this great hobby to a friend.
