I've been ready to make more wine but there's been a lot of stuff going on and I haven't taken the time. I've wanted to make a fruit wine for a while and earlier in the summer my wife and I ran across a fruit stand in Fernandina Beach, FL that had the most awesome fruit in the world. I tried a sample and I knew I was going to purchase some of their fabulous fruit for wine. So I bought about three and a half pounds of fresh strawberries. Now normally when you buy strawberries from the local grocery store they look great on the out side but the inside is white and flavorless. These were completely red, sweet and delicious. I couldn't believe it. My fourth batch is fermenting and I'll make sure to get pictures and eventually post them.
